therefore just shoot 'n loot everyone. grand success.
This lead in somebody else seeing this and reporting me of harrassment.
Funniest thing ever: The guy who started the contest with me, attacked me because of that.
This is some complete nonsense and I cannot understand why this has never been fixed. :D
If I didn't have the bank mod where I can story my money I would go nuts in this game losing all my money everytime just for trying to play the game peacefully. :D
Then I 've got arrested and had to pay
The more I play it the more I ask myself if the developers played their own game even once before selling it. ^^
It's not about losing or winning honor.
It's just that the game does things that are not logical and break the game experience.
Pretty bad in a game that aims to give a lot of realism feels.
And I would really like to do stuff without having to fear being arrested all the time for doing nothing wrong. ^^
Breaks my gameplay and that pisses me off.
This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I do spend more time being on the run for nothing than playing the game.
Take it like when you in real world would enter a dangerous situation, get your bearings first and not just shoot everyone in sight, for you might shoot the victim(s) too. so its a second or two to intervene, it makes it plausible. Press the intervene button.
This lets your opponent(s) first draw their attention (and possibly guns) away from the victim and they will then go after you (give yourself a healthbooster, if need be, for the next blows will hit you first, but the victim is more likely to survive.
It is not "kill anyone from now on, licenced & bountyfree" for we are not the Law,
but if I level the opps level (like no Schofield versus fists, if they try to grab me) and
first hold my stance and position firm, almost stoical with my superhealtboosters,
dead-eye-knowledge and aim-assist© I lean back calmly and take all the marauders
pain and fear and transform it to something bigger, an arthurely transcendence -
sorry for driftin'... it's those blossoms I'm sure!
But when I then let them approach me, I often had such accounters middle of the day in say Valentine, folk mumbled around ("what the heck.." "was it?" "hell...") but no kill order on the help.
It does not work all the time, for I shall not forget whom I play here (a known criminal in storymode, who in the eyes of the people is always guilty) and that handling such tasks programming-wide is a nightmare, but that's another story and no excuse of course.
Anyway, I guess, this game wants to be played with a certain calmness and overview, too.
Hope, this was not too much blaablaa, maybe it helps some.
no pun intended ;-)
When you use Mods you need to either use other mods that address such issues; or keep the in-game time in mind. There is a mod (I forget the name) that allows you to enable some RDO rules that are used; such as Stores/Shops/Banks never close. They might glitch to where the shop turns its lights out during what would be "closed hours" but aside from that they can stay open. In RDO they are always open.
I'm pretty sure you can even over-ride the shop hours using Rampage Trainer. Or with that, I know you can at the very least, stop time clock or slow down time.
Often when playing RDR2 Story w/ Mods I used Rampage Trainer to set the game world timer to around 6000 seonds (the default is 2000 IIRC); so that's slowing the game world down to 1/3 the speed of the default. Making days much much longer.
Only issues with changing game time is once you trigger some quest or mission events in the game, the game world time will auto switch back to the internal game engine default. It's annoying but not a huge deal.
