I second this, but it seems emulation may be the only solution. Apparently the engine code is terrible for PC.
If, like most folks, you like the story and cutscenes then you can use youtube for that.
If you are in it for the atmosphere and gameplay--RDR1 and 2 are freakin identical.
I think you have to be 18 at least to play RDR2. I mean judging by that zoomer post I assume you are underage. Most people don't care about graphics, especially for classics like RDR. And they aren't the same, nor outdated. RDR2 is its own thing while RDR1 is just GTA with wild west therefore more arcade. Each game do stuff better than the other. Some people more prefer the first one over the second. I personally can't decide which one is better.
BTW how old do you have to be to learn not to be disrespectful to strangers or launch petulant accusations?
you'd know if you had actually played it.
But we need a PC version.
No we don't. I'm playing RDR1 right now on my pc at 1080p (even more than that actually) at over 60fps, again, with no motion blur or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DoF enabled, and maxed out AA/AF.
the game could simply not be better than this, even with an official port.
