that onlines combat is the same as story. so if and only if that is true. getting 1 shotted is probably easy in online.
i mean. in story mode you hit npcs in the head once they die. im assuming it would be the same in online mode if a player hits you in the head.
now ive read dead eye is different in online then it is in story mode.
but it does have dead eye. i cant speak on what that entails other then what ive read in researching to help reply to this topic.
what ive read is dead eye doesnt work like it does in story mode. But with something called paint it black you can still mark enemies like in story mode with dead eye.
which my guessing would mean they can mark your head and kill you in one shot.
they could be really good at it i suppose. meaning their really fast at marking and firing.
or they could be hacking. as far as countering a shot. pretty sure the only way to counter a bullet is to have an object infront of you for that bullet to hit instead of you.
take cover.
in story mode you can increase your health stamina and stuff so you can take more damage im sure its probably similar in online. probably not much of a help. but. you know you can always ensure your behind something as much as possible before firing.
This.
Red Dead Redemption's weapons are designed for PvE, so by default they're extremely powerful. Especially for PvP which is undeniably underwhelming and way too powerful, this isn't the only case though. You HAVE TO LEVEL UP to unlock better weapons in the game.
A lot of players on PC are pricks and will kill you if you're low level, this means that you haven't obtained full health, full dead eye or ability cards that protect you from players. The Online is un-optimised for PvP and will always guarantee the person with the higher level to win with better unlocks and maxed out stats.
Play Online privately, it's so much better... and here's why!
- If there's more people in a session, random events are decreased. Because you'll be playing privately, that means it's more likely for random events to spawn!
- If you're doing a treasure map in Online in a public session, you will not get the full reward. I found this out for myself. If you're in a Private session, you will get a lot more for finding your treasure chest. Here's an example.
Public session, ~0.24 gold and ~90$ on average when finding your treasure.
Private session, ~1.2 gold and ~180$ on average when finding your treasure.
- Your game WILL NOT CRASH. Due to modders, they spawn a lot of props on the map and it will give you an error causing your game to crash. Being in a private session basically means you don't have to deal with any of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
- Playing with friends, make sure they have the same script and password as you! As mentioned in the video, your server will depend on the password you place in the script. Just load into free-roam and your friends should all be in the same server.
- Hideouts WILL ALWAYS SPAWN. Hideout rate is at the max spawn rate in Private.
- Also, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamers killing you.
- You'll be able to learn at your own pace in a private session too.
Yep, that's basically it. Enjoy the experience!
So I can easily 180* on someone and land a head marker and take the shot.
Plus in RDR2/RDO if you are in 1st-person camera you can 180* around just by quickly pressing C. Plus they can see you on Radar so I don't see how you actually going to "sneak" up other players. Unless you are playing some PVP series where it hides the other players on radar until shot or visually seen by you or team-mate.
treat others with respect
all multiplayer games have cheaters/griefers and always will if you dont want to deal with it (the idiot behavior) then do the solo lobby. i've tried it out a few times, works perfect .
when i join a lobby i check the player list asap and turn off the in game matchmaking invites.
when i am griefed if i know which player is doing the griefing i block and report.
think reporting doesnt work ?
think again
i bet 99% of alll the "cant login anymore" posts here are from people that got banned for cheating/griefing
Are you aware this isnt a KC:D post? It seems you have your forums mixed up.
this is the red dead redemption 2 forum not kingdom come deliverance forum lol
If you never change this, you most likely will be in lobbies with people using a controller + aim assist. If they are using this its very simple with a controller to lock on (it locks on to the upper chest area) and then they will eventually realize how to quickly flick and shoot to get that instant head-shot. Alot of people play in GTA Online this way. The lobbies are dictated by the users aim mode setting.
It's helpful to always use Free Aim in RDO. For one, regardless of using a controller or not you get added XP points just for being on the Free Aim Mode. You will notice them when you kill stuff. Like "Free Aim +5 XP" or something like that.
