Then there are Red and White Arabian horses to be found and tamed.
Again please keep in mind while there are plenty of horses that will appear to have low stats, you don't get to see their max stats until you've reached a level 4 bond with the horse.
Pretty much everyone knows where to find the White Arabian... the Red one can be found west of Owanjila Lake (West of Strawberry) and the Brindle (this one is very rare random spawn) northern area (high hills) of Wapiti Reservation.
And because a horse won't reach it's full stats until the level 4 bond is reached, those are considered fully when selling a horse. Now all of the Arabians @ level 4 bond are worth a good chunk at any stable (over $180-240+) but the Stables do not offer as much as the Horse Fence. However you won't unlock this until much later in Chapter 3.
So what I initially did was find the White Arabian and then a little later, the Black. And reach level 4 bond with both. Keeping them in Stables and not really at that point worried about looking to buy or stable anymore new horses until later on. Once I unlock the Horse Fence, sell the White and Black for a very nice chunk of change. Making room for some better ones. I kept the free Thoroughbred (redeemed free because of Ultimate Edition) until either late Chapter 4 or early Chapter 6, since by that time I will have leveled and sold all the freely obtainable Arabians. You can get the White, Red, and Brindle multiple times; as long as you sell off one before bothering to look for that same wild breed again, if you hold on to it, it will never spawn again; the White, Red and Brindle are what are called Rare, or Legendary.
So if you are tired of the hunt for Gold Bars, or already got pretty much all of that; leveling up and selling such horses can make some good bank. I did all of that simply due to bordom at some points and just gave me something to do that actually had a purpose to some extent.
