You forgot the email you used? How many different email addresses could you have used for your Rockstar account setup? I couldn't imagine a need for more than 3-5 possible email addresses personally.
Once you confirm the one that Rockstar recognizes, select "forgot password?" to get you a password reset email to get logged back in. It may be a minor pain, but it's not that difficult to do in the grand scheme of things.
I was just thinking about installing the game again and realized I deleted the gmail account linked to my social club as I wasn't using it anymore. I haven't got the energy to go through it all again.
Admittedly it was my mistake but it's ♥♥♥♥♥ that a game I own and purchased from STEAM needs another garbage piece of software to run. I'm never buying another game from Rockstar. They can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ alongside Ubisoft and their garbage.
I mistakenly used an email alias to set-up the account. I can no longer remember it. And I can't find the confirmation email from them either in my primary mail that hosts the aliases. Probably lost it. Now, if you don't use email aliases on the internet, then you must not be on the internet much. There's a ton of garbage that asks you to sign up for stuff, that giving your email away is just irresponsible. But hey, you do you.
That's fair. Isn't there a way to look up your email address registered with them though? I swear I remember there being a "forgot username/email" option in addition to the "forgot password" option.
Recently, I bought RDR2 and realized I couldn't remember my launcher login details. I contacted Rockstar Support, provided them with a lot of information to verify my ownership, and went through several rounds of verification. I thought I’d finally get some help. However, they asked me for the exact "DAY/MONTH/YEAR" when I linked my Steam account with Rockstar. I explained that I had no way to remember or retrieve this information since I’d lost all access. Unfortunately, they just closed my ticket, saying they couldn’t help.
Not giving up, I tried again. This time, I went to Steam and followed this path:
Help > Steam Support > Games, Software, etc.
I searched for the first Rockstar game I’d bought on Steam. Steam displays the purchase date, which is likely the same date you linked your Steam account with Rockstar.
I provided that date to Rockstar Support, and it worked! They helped me recover my account. Since the old email was no longer accessible, I requested a swap to a new email, and they granted it.
I hope this helps anyone in a similar situation!
That's all you get 'or variations of compromised account' - unless you sign in. Some create throw away accounts to sign in, and access other options, phonecallback, livechat, etc.

Steam support generally can't help with 3rd party log in / related issues short of using them for some kind of confirmation of ownership/existence/confirmation of an email. Also be wary of using 'purchase dates' - if you have multiple R* games on steam. Depending on download speed, and other silliness, the dates may not match also. In that case you can look at achievement dates too.
/goodluck, some get this fixed in hours, others.. days.. weeks.. give up...
Yall know youre gonna buy GTA 6
