I had this issue ages ago too.

It's either an issue with Rockstar like a bug, but it can also mean a possible banning.

There are ways to fix this issue though if it is a bug.

!. Firstly, you can try contacting support
2. Verify the integrity of your game files (back up first)
3. Optional if still having problems: uninstall Red Dead Redemption II and reinstall again (back up save files first)
4. Update your graphics drivers (depending on which one you have)
5. I have seen a way but not sure how others did it exactly in youtube video clips but there is a way kind of like refreshing your account where the error message is fixed and your good to go.
6. I forgot to add this issue that the error could be as well, it can also be Rockstar Social Club update that can interfere with accounts like this error message you received (You can contact support about this too)

I hope on your behalf that it's only a bug, you can try these options and see if it works. Otherwise I'm sure others will be happy to share other solutions as well

Apparently ive been automatically signed out from rockstar social club several times before. but my internet has been performing well since.

i doubt its a ban, i dont use any sort of mods for any sort of game on my PC.

at first it kept on signing me out from Social club in game and made me quit like randomly. my game files are fine. Its the rockstar launcher thats making the game go nuts. ive tried contacting rockstar... no reply yet..... :(

I understand. So about social club, you can't even launch Red Dead or you can't log into social club to play online. If the game is making you quit randomly this can also be caused by computer performance. Your internet runs fine which is wonderful to hear. Your files are not corrupted or anything like that, really good. You may be right about the rockstar launcher. All I can recommend if social club still will not sign you in or even launch the game at all...Maybe wait and see when Rockstar replies, if you get no reply, I will do research on how to fix this problem for you If none of the options above work for you  Fingers crossed you'll be up and running again ;-)

Try deleting your user profile, and completely uninstalling the social club application, then reinstalling it clean. Might do the trick.

Sounds good, back everything up first that you don't lose anything though right? This might very well do the trick, awesome bro!

Thanks for all the responses.

I doubt its the hardwares problem at this point. for some reason i get to play the game for awhile yesterday. but R* social club signed me in as offline. Ive already tried the user profile local reset.

but i cant seem to login online again today. and it popped the verification fail at the start again. ill keep trying.

i cant seem to find the root of the problem. thats just plain annoying....

but on the other hand, seems to me like i cant really plug and play this triple A game right off the bat. Thats just sad. itd normally wont need so much effort just to run a game. lol

you need to open firewall ports in Windows 10 for both Inbound and outbound rules
the port numbers are as follows
61455
61456
61457
61458
6672

Before deleting social club, verifying game files, or (god forbid) reinstalling the game and windows, just try resetting your router, turn it off, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in.

I occasionally have this problem too, tried the previous solutions before (except reinstalling the game and windows of course), but I found out, resetting your router is enough.
