Documents > Rockstar Games > Red Dead Redemption 2 > Settings
Then before you launch it again, also do Verify on it from Steam.
If it's been a while since you've last played, it could be the Rockstar Launcher crashing and not the actual game; if you feel this could your issue, uninstall Rockstar Launcher + SocialClub (Win10/11 > Settings > Apps)
Once both are removed, go to your Documents > Rockstar Games and delete the whole folders for Launcher and SocialClub.
Download+Install latest Launcher from here ONLY AFTER you have done the above.

Once it has been installed, during the installer it asks if you would like to launch/start it; UNTICK THAT BOX. And finish the installer. When done, right click Rockstar Launcher (have Steam already running at this point) and click Run As Admin. Enter your Rockstar SocialClub account info and tick the boxes for Remember Me + Auto.
Launch RDR2 from the Rockstar Launcher; not Steam.
