Steam deck cloud save not working

I mostly play on my computer but when I get on my steam deck, rockstar cloud save conflict pops up and ask if I want to upload the most recent save and I agree. Then when I get into the game, I'm left off exactly where I was last time when I played on steam deck. The save is not the same as when I got off on my PC.

Anyone have any solutions?

If you last played on PC then you have to DOWNLOAD the saves from the cloud to your deck.

Right now though if you want the most recent save from your PC you'll have to hop on there and upload that one to the cloud, since you uploaded the older one from your deck over the PC one.

I don't think my deck is uploading rdr2 save files. I never get conflicted saves and I simply pick up where I last left off on my computer. I think it's something to do with rock stars cloud saves. I don't have cloud save problems with any other game

Same here. Did you find out a solution? My deck save is not loading on the PC. It's one save behind which is infuriating...lol

i did not. i dont think there is a steam cloud save enabled for this game cause it has rockstar cloud save instead. there people online saying how to transfer your file but it looked like it only transferred your file and not keep it up to date so i didnt bother.

I've got the same probs.
Played on my Steamdeck, now I wanted to play on PC, but rdr2 says, that there are no save games available. So the game Starts from scratch. I checked the social club cloud save feature, but its always checked off, when I return to the game. It seems, the games saves are only locally saved on my deck. I have no idea how to get my save files to my PC. Its annoying.
