Bad game. Too much like a movie.

when I play rdr2 I see that the game is very restrictive, especially in missions. Let’s say I want to get off the beaten path from the one mission where it makes u follow a marker and the game instantly fails. Then I have to restart the old checkpoint by pressing the button, but it’s just strange how rockstar devolved from gta games where you could do missions for the most part the way you wanted to something a lot more boring and restrictive. I don’t want a movie, when I buy a game I expect to be able to play a game, not this constant thing where it just has to keep you on the same path following the mission marker. Sadly there are no mods to fix this and it makes the game very bad. Story and everything else is poor also. People who say this is a game miss that this is more of a movie than anything.

You don't own the game on Steam, perhaps you own it elsewhere, which also rises the question why would anyone come here just to start compulsive posting critiques to a 7yo game.

the movie aspect of rdr2 is very obvious, gameplay wise the game lacks. i agree that it isn't good, so it's bad then.
