Alternatively, you can likewise find it during random encounters, even when not expecting it ... for whatever reason, I regularly find some while looting the enemies of camps I defend.
Loot all bodies, don't burn them and make sure to check in all boxes and chests around.
Rockstar basically recreated Stranger Missions, but they added an annoying "Capitale" component which they intentionally made an absolute pain-in-the-neck to collect. And do you want to know why it's so painful to gather?
. . .
It's because you can buy Capitale for gold bars (real money) at a Fence. :/
UGH! It feels like "Blood Money" was only added as a cynical cash-grab to try and extract more cash from the players, rather than a fun new game-mode to grow RDO's playerbase. :(
Anyway, my rant aside, yes - you do not earn Capitale simply by completing Blood Money Missions, you need to loot nearby crates, chests, boxes, and search all the dead bodies you come across.
No, this is not fun. Yes, it's 100% designed to waste your time so you'll buy the Capitale instead.
The "Call to Arms" game mode was the only good thing to come out of the Blood Money Update, and they even managed to screw that up - they buried that game mode under the telegrams system rather than make it more accessible with a proper multiplayer lobby. :/
Sorry, I'm ranting again.
Some of the Blood Money missions might not be all that great, but again you have to understand that Blood Money paved the way for what all was added after, which was alot. You think RDO is boring now? Think about how it was for those who played it BEFORE Spring time 2021 when RDO didn't have most of any of that stuff it has now.
The Trader, Collector, and Bounty Hunter were added in September 2019.
Moonshiner was added December 2019.
Naturalist was added July 2020.
Even The Prestigious Bounty Hunter license I'm pretty sure was added December 2020.
I'm not aware of any roles being added around the release of "Blood Money."
However, You are correct that the "Quick Draw Club" was released around the same time as "Blood Money," and that was legitimately good. It's just a shame that was the last "Pass" ever released in the game. O_O
Well, except for the dreaded Halloween Pass 2 which comes back EVERY Halloween because I'm pretty sure there's no devs working on RDO who know how to switch it out with another Pass. :P
lol, I just hold a special hatred for "Blood Money" because it was the update that ended up being the final "nail-in-the-coffin" for my friends giving-up on Red Dead Online. Scavenging for Capitale was a chore, especially when you had to share it between 4 friends playing co-op.
Between that and the rampant cheating my friends were done with this game. :P
That was purely for Blood Money update.
Well in any case it gave way to some of the better RDO playlist updates. However back when there was active development still, the playlists were changed weekly instead of monthly. I do miss that but changing it to monthly does make sense and helps though who no longer play the game often, since relevance has died down after 2021/2022
