So long as you never have to reload it mid-fight, sure.

Very
It's good cos it has 9 shots, even better if you dual wield 2 of them that's 18 shots. And great with the shot gun shot when attacked by wolves. That's in single player, but Online you're better off being armed with a shotgun so you don't need that on a handgun, so a fast pistol is better Online.

I kinda hate the single action revolvers. I don't like having to re ♥♥♥♥ every shot . Those shotgun barrels are pretty sweet though .

Not worth it, as mentioned, too slow to reload when you really need it. The Schofields are my most commonly used handguns, sometimes substituting a sawed off shotgun for certain missions, such as as bounties where you have to go in a cave or house to bring them out and want something powerful that will usually stop NPCs in close proximity with one shot. They also load relatively fast while you have a bounty on your shoulder.

You'll need to switch up what you're using to improve various skills or complete certain mission requirements/challenges (ex. pistol vs revolver, sniper rifle vs. lever action, etc).
It's fast with 2 guns at once, while one of reloading the other is shooting

Depends on what you like to do and what cards you're using.
If you mainly PVE and use "Paint it Black" to focus on headshots, LeMats are probably the best choice.
If you PVP with the same card, dual Mausers would probably work better, given that they fire and reload faster - you're going for headshots anyway, so lower damage isn't a huge issue.

PVP body-shot builds, on the other hand, would likely want semi-auto pistols. Quick unload/reload.
