Do as I do, I always leave the best for last so I don't get tired easily, and how did I do that? - I started playing RDR2 Online until I got tired without touching the story mode and then I would entertain myself when I got tired of the online mode lol like that phrase "The best is yet to come"

If you don't like it, don't play it. I know it's really baffling to wrap your head around, OP, but people have different tastes in things. Just because you think something is boring, doesn't mean everyone else will. Conversely, I'm sure the things you think are great and really fun are incredibly dull and boring to others. To each their own. Good luck in your search for a fun game to play.

I stopped playing the story after getting through first part of chapter 2 and spent majority just hunting and crafting.

It really depends on you and your type of game play. I have several save points with different types of play and versions of aurthor. Age of player has something to do with it too. 20 something has different interest than 40 something players.

Tastes change over time.
