How can a multi-million dollar company be complete garbage you ask? By refusing to debug their game and offer applicable support. Steam is just as guilty for putting it on sale knowing there are major issues. Game is unplayable for me. Can't even launch it. Tried for 3 hours, and all Reddit solutions to get it to launch and it still won't work.

He's not unreasonable. My rig is i9-14900k with a 4090 rtx. And I haven't been able to even launch the game for 5 months. It ran well before then all ♥♥♥♥ like texture broken, game is not interactive etc.
p/s: just downloaded and tried this again today, still hang.

The game is not broken but it has its flaws , which game now a days is perfect and has no flaws, they all do?
- The only problem I've had from time to time is on the game's loading screen, sometimes it freezes and I have to start the game again, technically it's the most persistent problem.
- Another problem is the optimization on the animation of collisions between objects, textures penetrate each other, which is why sometimes when driving horses in more complicated situations and tighter places like between trees or rocks, everything ends up bugging and the horse gets stuck.

just bought it the other week, works perfectly fine. seems like an issue with your system. I would recommend reinstalling windows.

Hundreds of hours in, I've never had a single crash and virtually no bugs to speak of. Problem is on OP's side, not the game.

i'm playing it on 3090 rig and it only fails when my mods are wrong.
before you claim the game is broken, make sure you've uninstalled completely, and there are no .asi files remaining from your last modded version.

I doubt it's "the game is broken" so much as there's something awry closer to home.

It ran well for me on a wide range of hardware over several years, but recently it started crashing, regularly, but mostly in Saint Denis. I don't know if this is due to a game update, Steam update or driver update. AMD B550, Ryzen 5800x3D, Radeon rx7800xt. No other game or app crashes. Though after the last FFFFFFFF error crash in RDR2, I switched from Vulcan to DX12. Too soon to say if that helped or not. If it keeps crashing I'll go back to playing it on an older system.
