I haven't seen any cheater hit anything. The first hacker I saw teleported to me and started shooting at me, after 7 shots at close range all missing me, while I was standing still trying to figure out why this was happening, I finally just shot him in the head 1 shot. My point is I haven't seen anything like an aim bot on this game and cheaters/hackers usually cheat and hack because they are terrible at games so they are terrible at shooting and you'll win most gun battle with them. Wait till they attack, which turns that friendly blue dot to enemy red, so you can kill them without penalties. Be patient while their bullets whizz past you, even if you do get hit it's never aimed well so often not a crucial hit, and aim slowly at their head and one hit kill them. (Wild Bill Hickok would say, "It isn't the speed that wins the gun fight, it's the accuracy so take time and aim.") If they come running back, after respawning, you'll also see their red dot on the minimap coming to you, so long range them. However, if they pull out a lasso, a lasso hardly misses up close, run and zig zag out of lasso range and shoot them in the head.

That's such a shame. I've played the SP for ages and done everything to death. Shame I can't play cheater free with some friends.

You can play the role play multiplayer called Redem more fun then the regular MP

You can play online by yourself or with your friends in a solo lobby.

If your friends have the same file and password as you they will always log into your lobby and vice versa.

You don't need other random players to experience the online pleasures of developing your own character as a Trader, a Bounty Hunter, a Naturalist, a Collector etc.

You do most of these things alone anyway.

Follow the guys instructions below to create your own solo lobby and enjoy the world and characters that are RDO without idiots interfering with you.

If you want to quit your solo lobby to go back to RDO to join in a Free Roam Event or find people for a mission then just close the game and temporarily move the file to desktop and restart the game as normal.

I like the freedom to make up your own story in RedM ( https://redm.net ) but I keep finding the server owners have a God complex. "I created this world so I am a GOD!" All the servers have the same rules but no one actually knows what the rules mean and so everyone does what they want. (The rules need a revamp for sure). Only a few servers have a good number of players but that's cos they paid to be there and they mostly just pvp gangs against gangs and no story develops. You'll see maaaany servers with about 6 players and that's just owner and friends and that number of players never expands cos the owner and friends ban everyone after they've trolled, robbed and murdered you and then yell at you that it's within the rules and ban you if you disagree. But maybe, just a maybe, you can finally run a good server.

Rockstar bought RedM a little over a year ago saying that Redm Is how they wanted their online to be. They've not touched it, cos why fix something not broken. Server owners instantly ban hackers and trollers, so it's good that way. It's just the above mentioned that's sucks.
