Can you buy a lantern?

You can find and get a miner's hat that is much better than a lantern.

Your lantern should be available to you the next time you get on your horse.

Open your equipment wheel, highlight the Bowie knife, and scroll right or left.

If you truly did lose the lantern, you can earn a replacement by playing the Marko Dragic stranger sidequest in Saint Denis; then find Marko at night at his lab near Bacchus Station to help him with his project; and finally visit the lab at a later time.

Thanks. It was on the horse. And you have to be near or on it to select the lantern.
