How fix freeze bug

Hi, my game freezes, but I can still move. However, I can't open the menu or interact with anything, including NPCs. I've reinstalled the game multiple times, but it still doesn't work. Can you help me?

I have the same issue as well. I can't even interact with anything, not even the horse.

You need to reinstall your motherboard's BIOS. Doing that worked for me. No more crashes.

2. Hold your system up to date. Drivers and OS
-> Check for updates

3. Set API from Vulkan to DX12, most system specs have proms with Vulkan.
-> Can be found in the settings under graphic, advanced or in system.xml

...Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings

Open system.xml with notepad
Change following string <API>kSettingAPI_Vulkan</API>
into <API>kSettingAPI_DX12</API>


4. Set the audio format of your audio output device lower as 32 Bit recommend 16 Bit, settings of your OS. It prevents endless loading screens.
