Elite Dangerous has bigger map , i think. Also RDR2 map is not so big , even Skyrim is bigger.

RDR2 Map is 72 square miles. Atlas on the other hand is 17,000+ square miles. Of course most of it's ocean but it's still the map you have to sail across. Elite Dangerous probably wins though. lol. e

Ok... so i was comparing it to Death Stranding's map in my mind, which also plays in the USA (and is much smaller in my memory). In general i was looking for comparisons with 3rd person action games. Elden ring maybe.
And someone named Skyrim... I would think skyrim's and rdr2's maps are roughly similar in size.
Any other compareable games (no space sim) you can think of?

Even GTA 5's map is bigger than RDR2. The Witcher 3's map is close to 5x's bigger than RDR2's.
