Can't Craft Poison Arrow - Recipe Not Appearing

This seems like a gameplay bug.

• I have the poison arrow recipe pamphlet.
  
  
• I read the pamphlet numerous times.
  
  
• I have all the ingredients.
  
  
• I make camp and choose crafting.
  
  
• I select Show All for all recipes.
  
  
• I look in every category - I believe it should be under Hunting.

Maybe these aren't available to craft until later chapters? (I'm in chapter 2)

No sniper rifle available yet & I guess no poison arrows either.

This sucks.

Anybody else have similar issue or found a solution/work-around?

I'm on Act 2 myself and you can pick up the bolt action rifle from a guard at any hanging event. The recipe is in the ammo section when crafting.

I found the answer myself - none of the game websites were any help.

** --> You can only get poison arrows after chatting with Charles in the Horseshoe camp.

It seems fire arrows (a previous Charles-chat) are a prerequisite before Charles starts making poison arrows.

I hope this helps anyone else stuck on this
