So the real answer is:
Pick a Shoulder you like better.
You have 2 choices.
X while aiming is supposed to swap aiming shoulders for the weapon.
I can neither confirm or deny that actually works.
I got used to whatever it is where ever it was.
I think it is what it is.
Google up a better answer than I did, or get used to it.
no need to thank me , i am a giver
Is your view significantly different to a myriad of screenshots and videos or is it just not looking the way you wanted it too?
Unless you are dyslexic or something, straight is still straight, left is still left, right is right.... etc. etc. I still don't understand you issue. Is the camera supposed to look over your head, hmm no. And in fact you wouldn't want it to, or have fun always getting bit by that snake you didn't see.
Adapt and overcome.
Soon you'll be asking why you never played RDR2 before.
