Clothing Temperature bug at camp?

Strange bug that isn't game impacting at all but I noticed when I got to the first camp, I was in the default 'moderate temperature' outfit the game puts you in. people were walking around saying "Aren't you cold?" "Put on some warmer clothes!" "You must be freezing!" uh... okay. I put on the winter outfit. Same deal.

Like I said, its not really a big or even a small deal, just kind of strange and very mildly annoying. Anyone experience this or know how to fix it? I don't care about the camp gang griping about whatever but if my characters temperature ratings are bugged and i start having issues in the actual cold/hot areas that could be annoying

Known issue that has been occuring since December. Has no impact other than being annoying and AFAIK there is no fix

Thanks, as long as it doesn't have any gameplay impact I'll just roll my eyes when it happens and deal with it.

I'm still wearing my initial clothes and find it strange that even when I'm in temps of near zero all it well. I just have to down a can of beans more frequently. The fashion show part of this game is a huge attraction, but has no effect on game play.

There's no impact gameplay wise, but you do lose dialog, because it gets replaced with this BS. I know this because it's my first playthrough and I quit over this bug because I don't want a subpar first playthrough. After 5 months of no fix I tried another version *cough* YARR!! *cough* And noticed new dialog I've never heard immediatly (and I've played about 100 hrs in SP with this bug); usually after missions I like to talk to the people I've done the mission with and in the corsair version I would always get a remark on the mission, but in the official version if that gets replaced with one of "aren't you cold" remarks you either have to try to talk to them again and again or it's just lost forever and you'll never hear it.

For a game which main selling point (for me) is it's detailed world, the immersion and excellent writing I would call it game breaking (hence why I stopped playing until this is fixed.)

When playing the game, all gang members in the camp constantly comment that you are wearing inappropriate clothing for the weather conditions regardless of what you are wearing. The Cold Clothes Dialogue Bug constantly ruins the immersion of the game every moment that you spend in the camp. It makes the game completely unplayable for me. I submitted a ticket for this and you guys assured me that you were actively working on it way back in December. It has been six months and I fail to see how you could have possibly been actively working on this bug specifically for six months and have not fixed it by now. Frankly I am sickened by your conduct and dishonesty and those feelings are echoed among hundreds if not thousands of other players like me.

I have a similar experience and I'm just as frustrated. I sent them a bug report a few months ago and refiled the same bug report the day after their previous patch ignored it.

Strange considering this bug only exists because they put it there in the December update. This is why I won't spend a cent on RDO. I tried playing the trader role and it was filled with game breaking bugs like the disappearing camp.

I did see a thread on this board that someone made a mod on they posted on nexus that fixes this bug. Never thought I'd consider R* to be the same tier company as bethesda in the bug department..

Yea, I've got the legend of the east outfit, which is supposed to be good for any temperature, and I still get that even at the ranch after the epilogues . . .

It won't ruin your game. It's a good game but if it's not that it'll be something else. Somebody posted about a mod to fix it. I'm sure it's just a blank sound file to overwrite the dialogue bug.
