I tried that, didnt do much of a difference sadly
have u checked all your connectors and wires ?
Moved them around during cracking and popping to check for effect ?
how do you know? I already tried changing them
2 of them crackle. 1 doesnt.
also the 2 that crackle don't crackle with other things.
but it is not rdr2 specific either, it happens with a handful of things.
also my computer case is over 15 years old. cosmos steel tower.
its a big brick, but its still chugging.
even my keyboard is like 16+ years old.
oh, my keyboard also has an audio port too. but i dont use it.
the stuff in the tower is 2020 tech.
I have wireless headset and had the issue was well so not the wires considering it's a USB device.
Since switching from Vulkan to DX12 I have not had the issue though.
But then you might have to deal with the out of memory issue. Which apparently can be fixed with a mod from nexus mods.
you might have a grounding problem on your motherboard, or your sound device - but probably not if this is "the only game where you have this problem"...
A puzzle for sure. :/ ?
I do seem to recall hearing about this problem before, and maybe with RDR2 - check Google ?
Have you tried switching to DirectX12 instead of Vulkan.
The Vulkan implementation in this game is extremely broken.
