Xbox controls while using ps5 controller

Game is showing me Xbox controls while I am using ps 5 controller is there any way to get it to show ps 5 controls?

I assume you’re using ds4windows? I’m not sure about the ps5 controller but the game does support ps4 and ps3 controllers on pc right out of the box and shows the correct controls for PlayStation,so they might work as well.

Just shut down ds4windows,plug in your ps5 controller and fire up the game and it should show the correct controls.

i am not using ds4windows i tried in steam big picture by unchecking xbox its still xbox controls and even by going to game properties and disableing steam input but then controller doesnt work in game

Yeah, I don’t think the correct inputs will show for the ps5 controller in that case. Some googling I can’t find anyone that has found a solution other then using a mod.

these worked for me in dying light 2 but in rdr2 and gtav it makes my controller not working if i set it of or dont have ps enabled in steam controller settings and when i just have it set as ps and not xbox and also i get xbox buttons
