(Online) Whats up with all the 0xffffff Error Aborts ? This just happens randomly and sometimes repeatedly within an hours time.

yep been doing this to me over a month,iv quit playing!

game is only like 4 years old - they dont devote much effort once theres little more money to be made by them

leaving the game open to mod'ing and as suggested somewhere : perhaps the company itself sells the mod 'menus' (just saw that term yesterday) - referring to the apps used to mod the game - that being SOLD $$$ by the company itself to allow cheats and griefers to do their ^#%^#@$ antics

GTA6 if it comes out with the same sub-par networking code and mod accessible insecure defective code wont be worth playing

With all the other troubles Activation required BS and not even being able to Login to THE SOCIAL CLUB (SOME IP BLOCKING %%#^^#) its just a Circus of Incompetence and Carelessness on Rockstars part.

I was having the same issue, dumped from online every 5 minutes or so with various error codes . . . the only thing that fixed it was connecting through a VPN. After I set that up I haven't had a single disconnect/dump in the last 3 days.

No idea what it fixes/bypasses, but a lot of posts have said this fixed it for them too . . . good luck ;)

It does fails consistently for me.


They just patched a bunch of stuff ( 2/7/2023) and the login attempt had some different popups + downloads and restarts, but now gives the 0x10023190 error attempting RDR2 online mode - the game IS running (able to select ONLINE or STORYU) , and I can access and run the RDR2 Story mode (that wasnt working before) , but the Online wont get past that UNABLE TO CONNECT TO ROCKSTAR GAME SERVICES error. 0x10023190

I got into the Social Club - Logged in when it said you had to revalidate in Social Club or something . But then I logged out and reattempted login to the website and it barfed "Sign in failed, please check your network connection and try again"

Thats really dodgy when their webpage dont work ( which has happened alot the last week - very inconsistent whatever filtering system they are doing ).

Now I will retry all this to see how consistently it fails. ITS Happened many times before that you get IN ONCE and then you try again later and its back to not working. (AND That whole time I havent gotten the online to work even with all the Support page fixes (besides the VPN) ...
