Thoroughbred, why can't I get it?..

I have the Ultimate edition of RDR2, but I can't get the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred. How do I go about claiming it?..

It is for story mode, not for the online part.

not online you got middle horse with ultimate edition but for beginner its pretty good to start

Here's what I saw when I purchased the ultimate edition:

"The Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition delivers all of the Story Mode content from the Special Edition plus additional content for online including Bonus Outfits for your online Character, Rank Bonuses, Black Chestnut Thoroughbred and free access to the Survivor Camp Theme."

That sounds like I get the thoroughbred online. I looked up how to get it, but it's not working..

But I am fairly sure it is for the story only tbh. I have the U.E. too, and got it as soon as I could acces the stable.
Never had any "special horse" for online.

You might want to try to open a ticket to verify this for yourself and maybe share the answer here for others to see.

The Black Chestnut Thoroughbred is only available in Red Dead Online to players that own the Ultimate Edition of RDR2. It can be acquired for free from any Stable.
go too the stable and look at the thoroughbreds its should be there

The Ultimate Edition Black Chestnut Thoroughbred Horse is available for free to players at the Stable after completing the introduction.

Note: If a player only owns a single stall, they will need to do the following to claim the horse:

Go to the Stable
Sell the horse from the introduction mission that is occupying the current stall
Go through the purchase flow to claim the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred Horse for free

That's what I repeatedly tried directly after the introduction and it wasn't there. I'll try again today before I open a ticket to see what happens..

I also own the UE and had no trouble redeeming my Thoroughbred back when I started online. Just went to any stable, deleted my garbage horse from Clay's mission and claimed the Thoroughbred.
Are you able to redeem the free weapons and outfits that are also included in the UE? If not, you might wanna check your purchase history to make sure that you actually own the Ultimate edition.
