PS: in other missions invitation was valid much more time.
it's like how when you go to dragics lab, you go to the place and there's a front door, but the game wants you to go around back.
cept with dragic there's a marker.
There was always a white marker with the person's initials for every other similar Stranger Mission, including the photographer and the archaeologist, but this one has never shown me the marker at the Taxidermist House. Based on the Tasks page of the game's Log, I would expect to see an "LH" marker over the house.
Speaking of the Log, it currently shows "Visit Ms. Hobbs" at the bottom of the Mission Brief page, but the Checklists page still shows all of the check boxes filled in for the fifth stage:
* Perfect Cedar Waxwing Carcass
* Perfect Bat Carcass
* Perfect Blue Jay Carcass
* Perfect Crow Carcass
* Perfect Beaver Carcass
* All Carcasses Mailed
I would expect it to show something like "Visit Ms. Hobbs" as an unckecked box instead.
I've even tried collecting another Perfect Beaver Carcass to see if it would change anything or show an update to the tasks, but it does not. And since R* isn't doing any other updates to the game that anyone knows about, it's feeling like I'll never be able to get to 100% on this playthrough. 🥺
Dreamcatchers doesn't drop off anyone's list. That's apparently a VERY old bug that's been around for years. You'll find lots of posts about it if you google it.
Both doors do the same thing, the shoulder bash telling me that the door won't open.
What mission marker? You simply should have a map marker after the invitation is "live" to mark her initials, indicating her house location. Once you have it, go up to her door. If nothing happens at one door, go around to the other. If it does not switch to a cut-scene, come back at another time, as she might not be home.
Also don't forget about the very rare Caroline Parakeets. Many of you are missing that one.
Yes Dreamcatchers is a bug, don't worry about it.
All that matters is that once actually completed (finding the un-used ancient arrow head in the wall in the cave under the waterfall) is that you check here to see the checkmark is present; ESC > Progress > Total Completion
Cigarette Cards is also bugged because even after completing it, it will stay behind in your list. For some reason, picking up anymore Premium Cigarettes or loose Trading Card will trigger it to stay on that list as it will then change to have "All sets sent" be unchecked, which is obviously incorrect if you completed it and have credit for it (a checkmark for it under Progress > Total Completion); so again don't worry about it. You can't get further rewards by completing packs a 2nd time and sending them through the mail. All that ends up happening is you losing those cards. All trading cards after completion and as time goes on can be sold to a Fence.
There is a front and back door, only one works. You're welcome.
