I am also having some video and audio glitches that other people complain about. It seems like they spent too much time on the story and not enough on the gameplay. That is the criticism I am seeing around the web too. I hope it turns around because it looks like a lot of fun to play. It just goes to show that you can't trust the ratings.
I guess it depends on what you are calling the intro. I am probably past the point you are referring to. But I still consider it the beginning because I am still learning new basic skills.
Simply contradicting people does not add much to the conversation. Some will find it hard, and some will find it easy. I found the controls (X-BOX controller on Win10) to be clunky, which is exacerbated by the fact that the default movement is ridiculously slow. I'm in a gun fight and my character moves like he's meandering through a museum. It's poor design, IMO.
I am not contradicting anyone, I am just sharing my opinion same as the OP does in his topic.
And I am playing without a controller, what is the point of playing on a PC using a controller lol ?
Keyboard and Mouse is much superior in terms fo control.
Good game developers will give new players enough of a tutorial to understand the basic mechanics of the game while leaving room to figure out more advanced gameplay on their own. My opinion, mostly based on comparing it to other games that I have played, is that this game falls short in that area. The intro seems more focused on long stretches of travelling and dialogue. In a few spots, the dialogue and tips were even on the screen at the same time, and I didn't catch everything.
Why do you care that I use a controller? Again it is a subjective opinion, and it is pointless to debate. That boring argument has been going on for decades, and it never gets resolved. I usually play this type of game on a console, and I prefer the fluidity of a controller over a keyboard and mouse. I also spend all day working on a computer, and it is nice to be able to lean back and play games in a different way. It is just a personal preference. I regret not buying it for PS4 instead of PC, but I don't recall if I even had my PS4 at that time.
Am I supposed to apologize for having an opinion that opposes the opinion of the OP? What exactly do you want from me ?
I have played many games in my life and don't find this to be difficult in any way. Hence I am surprised that he feels very differently about it to the extend that he even feels the need to open a thread about it and share it with us, must really bother him.
I don't care if you use a controller but I don't think you should be moaning about controls if you are using a controller and not a keyboard and mouse which this game was originally intended to be used with.
Game comes out on consoles a year before PC release>says it was designed with PC controls in mind.
The smooth/physics movement they go for in game plays a lot better on a controller for me, and many others. There's not a million keybinds to deal with, clunky menu's that won't let you bind certain keys that conflict, even if it's not used at the same time as another key IE keys for card games vs keys for on foot movement.
The controls can be jank, and that's coming from someone who has tried PC controls and controller on this AND GTAV. And much prefers the controller.
And a PC gives you the option to use whatever input you want. You can play FPS games using a steering wheel if you want. Up to the user. Plug anything in with USB, PS/2, or any kind of adapters, and if it's not natively supported, you can find a way to bind it.
If you are not capable of comprehending someone else's viewpoint, it is best to let it go and not clutter the forum with posts that only disagree for the sake of disagreeing.
What is there to comprehend? He hasn't explained why he finds it to be so difficult in his actual thread and even if I would " understand " it, it does not mean I share the same opinion.
It is kind of sad that there are still snowflakes like you who go around insulting and attacking people for having a different opinion.
If you want to disagree with me you can do that, your good right, but to attack someone for simply sharing an opinion is a pretty immature thing to do.
So get over it, snowflake.
I play with KM since the 90s and people who use controllers are usually people that can't handle a PC very well as they are used to consoles, usually kids who use consoles and controllers, not my thing nor something I would support.
