For RDR2 if you ever get that warning click Hide Forever. Then within ...Documents/Red Dead Redemption 2/Settings; you will notice a file called OS-CHECK don't delete that otherwise it will keep giving you this warning.
I would not set any compatibility mode for these EXE as it's not needed. Just ensure the EXE is set as RUN AS ADMIN for ALL USERS. Is all you want to change.
Did you go through a series of upgrades perhaps? Win7 to 10 and then to 11?
Saying you are on 7 when you have 10 or 11 is some kind of bug, obviously.
What pops up?
Disable audio devices you won't be using.
Set what you are going to use as default prior to game launch.
Open Task Manager and Volume Mixer prior to game launch to after the game launches you can double check various volumes in your OS with ease.
