story mode also cannot play, rockstar said my account did not have permission to play red dead redemption2 , other people same??

I'm guessing since everything runs through the one launcher the game can't distinguish whether you are trying to load red dead redemption 2 or online no matter what it says. I guess we'll wait for something... oh right it's rockstar I guess that is too much to ask.

Tried it and not having issues playing story mode it's just the online component where it is stuck in offline mode and it wont connect to social club

Why is it every time I try to run this game I get one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issue or another. "Your account is not entitled". Take2 really sucks.

When I say offline I'm just talking about Red Dead Online is having issues. Story mode is fine.

Glad it works for you. It won't even let me get to the main menu where you select story mode. Going offline isn't a workaround either as it just continues to say you don't own the game you paid for.

Same. I have zero plans to ever buy another Rockstar game no matter how good it is, the company itself sucks.
