Oof.
I haven't experienced that. Mine are always simple crashes to desktop, and they never include an error message.
Good to hear.
Unfortunately, I don't use reshade with rdr2.
I've clocked 1,098 hours in RDR2, so I guess it can happen to anyone.
I play using Vulkan in borderless mode. I read on reddit that it's the most stable setting to use.
EDIT: Solved - it was my new SSD that was dying.
I was able to leave the game running overnight in story mode and play for ~2 hours yesterday, but I'm still crashing in multiplayer after ~15-30 minutes.
I've just about given up on understanding what is happening.
I wish. I'm about to try installing Nvidia creator drivers instead of the game ready drivers but I have very little hope.
I've been able to play single player for a little longer on average now, but I think the only reason it didn't crash overnight was because it was paused.
The most I've managed was ~2 hours in single player, but its still averaging 20-30 minutes before a crash.
I had my hopes up after I beat the odds a few times, but it didn't last.
I'd say things have improved slightly throughout the week as I've tried things, but thats probably just down to random chance.
