PS5 controller buttons

The buttons in-game don't match the buttons on the controller. also I want to be able to use my controller wirelessly. Not wired in.

Whats the easiest solution for this? did I make a mistake buying a ps5 controller instead of a xbox controller?

I don't own a PS controller of any kind nor have I ever attempted to use one for PC but there is a setting in the Steam Client < Controller tab for the setting "PS Controller Support" which by default is "Enabled in games w/o support" so my thought was to change that setting to "Enabled" and check if that works and/or turn off Enable Steam Input for xBox controllers in the same settings window - there is also a mod on Nexus that does change the glyphs but I am not sure if using it turns off achievements.

Thanks, but the buttons are still xbox. I guess, I will just sell my ps5 controller and get a xbox one instead. It's been nothing but a hassle using this controller.
