And since they hate the modding community, don't expect modders to be able to fix these issues.
I just checked, and it was Take2 and not RS, that sent a cease and desist to OpenIV. RS was against it and actually tried to help resolve it.
However, in regards to all the bugs and lack of content in RDO, idk what to believe atm. If I give them the benefit of the doubt, then I have to believe they just don't care at all, otherwise I have to assume they are incompetent af.
gtao was just another gta4 online before all the stuff finally fell into place
You could try setting that higher or testing with the other SSAO options turned on/off.
Yep, this means a lot to me: "eyelashes, horse eyes and glasses"
Not.
The fact they at least are releasing patches shows they are working on it, maybe not as vocal about it as they should be.
I don't expect SP issues to be resolved anytime soon as they seem to focus more on MP stuff.
I'd say being vocal about issues would be somewhat embarrassing, especially because they've already made millions, and well beyond the required return on investment. They are attempting to address some issues, maybe not the important issues (cheaters), I do agree. And, withdrawing that update a few weeks ago, that didn't look good. They do know customers are screaming, even if they don't watching this forum.
I would not wish to be a programmer at RS right now... overtime, overtime, overtime. And, the programmers are on a wage, so no overtime pay!
