American venom gold medal?

Is American venom mission bugged? I played through it trice!
First time I didn't get 85% accuracy- since I didn't know that was part of the challenge.. But I didn't miss that many shots at all. Well fine- I'll replay. Cleared it again, and this time I once again didn't get 85% accuracy-
Okay, well I did shoot explosives and lanterns that are placed in the level- Maybe those count as misses? Even tho I only shot 2 explosive boxes and 1 lantern- Compared to what- 30+ enemies? (not counting the body shots) That should've still been 90% at least?
Fine- I guess I'll replay again! This time I didn't miss a single shot, every kill was a headshot and STILL failed to reach 85% accuracy... What the hell am I doing wrong?

Don't tell me I can't just unload my mag on him?

I always unload my mag on him, it does not seem to affect the gold medal for me.

Then what the hell am I doing wrong? No matter what I do, it's the only one I fail out of the 4 challenges?

Well no it's also the amount of shots fired. Shooting a person multiple times significantly lowers your accuracy score.

How can I get any better accuracy than 1 bullet per enemy?
