Cannot play RDR2 - Launcher/email issue

Hi all, this has probably been answered 100000000 times however I'm about to have a stroke and need some help. My Rockstar Game Launcher is apparently linked to steam and to an email address that I cannot access. I have the correct password however I need to sign in to my email to be able to paste in the code it sends to confirm my email address.

It seems I'm completely screwed here.

I made a ticket through Rockstar, some AI chat bot told me they cannot talk about it via chat and they will need to email me. The email comes and they need a screenshot of a receipt of RDR2 in that email address which I don't have access to.

I DONT HAVE ACCESS TO THAT EMAIL ANYMORE!!!

I have RDR2 in my fricken steam library, I have obviously paid for it. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ single player game.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

i'm a little confused here.
if you have the correct password to get into your Email, why can't you access it ?
email's are just IP addresses.

I do have my email and password however it's asking me to verify my email address with a 6 digit code sent to the email that I can't access.

There is now no way I can play any Rockstar games as the account linked to my email I can't access is linked with my Steam account.

Oh yeah my Rockstar Social Club password is not the same as my email address password. I have the Rockstar Social Club password saved on my PC for years (when I still had access to that email address) however now I have the password for RS Launcher not my actually hotmail email address that is linked with it.

OK, I open Steam to launch RDR2. RDR2 automatically opens the Rockstar launcher. The Rockstar launcher is auto logged in to and linked my very first email address which I don't have access to.

I have the logins to the Rockstar launcher however when I successfully enter my login details via the launcher, the Rockstar launcher doesn't let me login. It tells me to verify my email address. The very same email address I don't have access to.

This means I can't login through the launcher and I also can't login to my email address to verify. Essentially there is no way forward to play the game. Steam is linked to the launcher and the launcher is linked to my email that I can't access.

On a side note, I have created a new Rockstar Social Club profile with my current email address (that I have access to) but when I log in to that, the launcher tells me I cannot play RDR2 and this new account is not linked with Steam. Even though I have RDR2 installed and ready to play via Steam, it won't let me play due to the Rockstar launcher being linked to my old email which I can't access.

Unless I'm a complete doofus (very possilbe) and i'm missing something, there is no way forward.

I have the same problem. Lost access to my email-account and now cannot play any Rockstar Games or EA-game I have bought on Steam. And Steam has no customer support that helps you with this.

keep at them send screen cap of steam showing your username and the game.
It worked for me, but took a number of too and fro emails.

I have contacted Rockstar's customer support and they were very helpful and together we solved the issue. The solution was to proof thay you own the games and link the Rockstar account to a new mail account.

How did you achieve that? I created my 4th ticket at their support but always get rejected.
I provided all kids of evidence, even payment from my bank account from the day I bought the game.
I have no access to that email linked with rockstar, I deleted it few years back.
Still, they want me to reply from THAT email to them.
They dont give a ♥♥♥♥. This must be the most useless support there is.
Looks like I need to buy the game AGAIN to play it
