I hate Saint Denis now

I finally got max honor and I get to the city to buy the outfit you can only get from there at max honor and its the middle of the night and the very first thing that happens is a couple gets mugged and the mugger shoots one of them and runs off before I can even see what's going on and my honor tanks by like a quarter because I couldn't intervene in a situation I wasn't even near, I was like 2 streets away just getting off the wagon.

I can go around murdering people for no reason and my honor never takes a 1/4 hit. I murder people all the time and almost always at full honor.

I've done nothing but good deeds all game with the exception of antagonizing rude people and i'm at the end and only now do I have full honor

You cannot get max honor or min honor until CH6 and beyond, probably that’s why. No matter how you try, the game caps you near the max or min until then, without the ability to reach max or min.

u pass? Saint Denis is a good place for doing that? ..but you're right, this game drives you crazy over the silly little dumb game play like you mentioned.

I think there is some witness system in the game, so you can go wild and still come out unscathed, but if someone gets away, maybe thats why the honor took the hit.

Honor in RDR2 doesn’t matter if there is witnesses or not. I think it’s less about how others see you, as it is as much as how Arthur sees himself or something like that. You can kill an entire town and leave no witnesses, but your honor will go down. Just as you can help someone as they’re dying and nobody will know what you did, but your honor will go up anyways.
