Getting mad at John for protecting pronghorn ranch made no sense at all.
Exactly, and it also has benefits for doing so later on. She is never appreciative, questions everything John does, never apologizes of tries to understand John's position. Poor character with not much growth. I have not played RDR 1, so I am not sure on any further character development.
Please all try to refrain from posting any spoilers from RDR 1, thank you.
I get where you're coming from, but I think Abigail’s frustration comes from worrying about John’s safety and the future of the family. She’s protective, especially of Jack, and her concerns aren't just about him being a 'soy boy.' Their relationship is complicated, and I think there's more depth to Abigail’s character when you consider the bigger picture, especially from RDR1.
I understand what you're saying. She doesn't handle it well at all, doesn't seem to think outside of Jack. Which in turn her reactions right in front make things become a bigger issue to Jack, therefore causing it to be even more traumatic. And even going so far to take the boy away from a father figure. Overall I guess I would find it highly improbable for a woman and a single boy to just "disappear" and be safe walking back into John's life, in that sort of world. Seems too modern of a character, at least from a RDR2 perspective. I will have to pick up the remaster of RDR 1 soon, see where this story goes. I just hope her character shows more growth.
Prostitutes are already married... to the streets.
author Terry Pratchett regarded prostitutes as " ladies of negotiable affection "
You'd have to live a hard life in the first place
Someone who grew up in a 4+ bedroom 3+ bath, who got everything handed to em' just isn't gonna understand
The man is a criminal, who has a wife that isn't some cheating tiktok user; (faithful) and a son who already seen more than what 90% of y'all did in your entire life.
Ofc she's gonna be peed off lol, She knows that he will die one day, the only answer; is when.
Then shes scared that her son will grow up just like em' because boys are impressionable like that.
"Why can't she just get off his back" Do you not see the irony in that statement?
If you've noticed in real life, almost everyone got divorced- and not many are established upon sturdy foundations. It's kinda the same concept.
Someone head apparently wasn't in the right place, they were distracted with things that should have never mattered.
oh sorry i forgot CHILDREN BAD!
But there is a difference between a woman complaining; and a woman genuinely not being happy with her environment.
I mean, hell- this is a video game; and were tryin' to break down the morals behind the nonexistent woman.
Ya first gotta understand history, and how committed those women were to the man they loved~ back in the day. They may have complained, but leaving wasn't an option.
Then you actually gotta do like, criminal activities irl first~ before you could ever understand the consequences of loving someone who is "for the streets"
Because yes~ that saying goes to us men too.
Gangb4ngers belong to the streets, because they literally run the streets.
Outlaws, were the equivalent of that. You were morally bad whenever it benefited you.
I'm definitely not a simp tho lol
If the game was centered around smartphones; I'd tell that b**** shes "for the streets" lol
