And most of the stuff You've mentioned are already possible with the mods
Unfortunately, no. Rockstar have ceased all active development on RDR2, both single player and multiplayer components. The best we can hope for at this time is for them to decided to work on a RDR3 sequel at some point after GTA6 is out of the gate and they've put a chunk of time into the inevitable multiplayer aspect of that one.
Suffice it to say though, the RDR2 we have now is the one we will always have. There will be no additional content added.
But a singleplayer DLC that would've returned thousands times the investment because game has already have sold more than the entire Assassin's Creed Franchise Combined ! It has sold more than Call of duty for gods sake ! and currently is on the top ten best selling titles of all the time !
And it's not like they need to invest on improving the game engine , programming or complicated expensive ♥♥♥♥ , They just needed a cast of writers and actors and re use a lot of game assets that already in the game .
They just don't care , GTA makes more profit
Also of those 65 million players only a fraction will buy DLC and that fraction gets smaller the longer away from release. That is why Sony has settled on the 2 year gap between the PlayStation release of their single player games to PC as beyond that point releasing new content for a Single Player game holds little financial sense, so releasing the complete edition to a new market enables more revenue
its really a blessing and a curse at the same time rockstar made rdr
Agreed 100%. RDR2 is the best game I have ever played. I don't care that they abandoned the online it sucked anyways.
