Can I finish certain side missions with john

So like I took some side missions with aurthur but if he dies would I be still be able to finish them like collect exotic stuff and cave painting one

Some MUST be completed as Arthur.
Some MUST be completed during their given chapter.
Some are started by Arthur but can only be completed by John.

Everything on this list is missable, and thus not required for 100% completion.

If going for 100% completion. I advise checking the completion list in Progress. Some only need the majority to be completed.
e.g. There's about 63 weapons in the game, you only need to collect 50-something for 100% as some can be missed.
e.g. 2, You only need to complete 10 stranger missions to get 100%, despite there being more.
