Nate Letters - Good Ending?

Hi, is there a way to give the Nate's mother letter to Nate?

I read it is the only way to give the good ending to this character but actually it looks bugged: sentence to talk with him about the letter doesn't appear.

So, is it true or an urban legend?

Also, some player said it's possible to find another letter after the good ending, from Nate to his father, where Nate writes him he left to stay with is mother.

I don't find anything about, there isn't a guide which said it.
Has that happened to anyone?
