Are the Dinosaur Bones and Rock Carvings worth finding????
I want to get as close to 100% completion on story mode as I can, but finding all those dino bones and rock carvings seems like a real pain in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ... has anyone found them all? Are the rewards worth it? Is the reward just dollars? Cos if it is, i have enough of those...

(BTW if the rewards are cool, don't spoil it!! There's a reason I don't google stuff like this!)

So, just use a guide. If nothing else, going after the bones is a good way to explore the map, to see bits you wouldn't otherwise come across.

If you want the 100% achievement you need too do it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

hm i guess i'll just save it for after the conclusion, and after all challenges etc have been done, then just use a guide... i've only stumbled on 3 bones and 4 carvings, nearly 200 hours of gameplay

How do you get a guide?

Check YouTube if anyone has bothered doing it you should be able to find it on there, if you lucky they will show all the locations on the map, I use it all the time to find where to go for the daily challenges, dirty tyler is the best for the daily's, short and to the point video's.

I would say the rock carvings are worth doing. The reward for completion is not dollars but is useful for the rest of the game and this is the only way to get it (not saying any more as you don't want any spoilers).Find at least one dinosaur bone for the same reasons, the rest maybe not so much.

The rock carvings are a cool encounter but don't benefit you massively, the Dino bones are annoying AF but get you a really cool knife, either way if your 100%ing you need to do both
