Will I lose big animal pelts if fast travel?
Say a bear for example.

Every time I've fast traveled the pelts on my horse disappeared. Every single time.

It's why I invested in a hunting wagon.
Dont listen to the people saying no, you definitely can lose it, i cant confirm if its always i havent risked it since the one time.

Well, after reading the two first comments I just decided to try and fast traveled twice while holding a bear pelt, and I didn't lose it. However, I did lose a corpse once.
I fast travel from my camp up north east to Strawberry with the Legendary Elk Pelt and didn't lose it. I did it so I could turn it in to the trapper near Riggs and it was just fine.
Things on the horse will survive a Fast Travel.
They won't survive a Session Change.
