It is only slightly more attractive than The Strawberry Daquiri Upchuck you can buy.
Good Horses. Not a fan of the coat.
I am enjoying the Blue Roan MFT for Online.
That a statement (! or .) or a question (?) lol
it took me 4 or 5 tries, and two very long tracking attempts before i finally spotted him.
it was a definite chore, and certainly one of the hardest challenges of the game.
but i prefer the fox trotter over every other horse - and free is a good deal.
Got that right.
Best to describe a players odds of getting this horse;
May take 1 attempt or 50 attempts or anywhere in between,
persistence has a huge reward in the end, a free fox trotter!
A tip for anyone attempting this, and my biggest mistake this time around..
Start as early in the day as you can, camp nearby if need be and sleep till morning.
Was 3pm game time on my recent attempt,
and when it starts to get dark it's much much harder to do...
yeah,
I should have followed my own advice but I like to make things more difficult sometimes.
Don't take this the wrong way because this isn't an "A better than B thing"
Fully bonded white Arabian, without gear boost..
6 pips for top speed and 6 pips for acceleration

Level 1 bonding on the fox trotter, again, without gear boost.
7 pips for top speed and 5 pips for acceleration

Fox trotter is actually faster with a level one bond than the fully bonded white Arabian.
One thing Rockstar don't do well, dialog..
Arthur basically tells you to go after this horse in the dialog with the photographer,
And the game spawns the animal in well before the horse is actually made available..
Not to mention, I'm fully aware this has been known by console players well before the game became available on PC..
No I don't consider it a glitch....
And it's well deserved "bragging" rights if you think someones bragging here! lol
I call it my answer to R* screwing Arthur at every opportunity - and licking John's Ass Crack - a Cheat/Mod/Adjustment, so you don't have to wait until the game is over in Chapter 6 to have the best stuff:
Native Trainer Reskinned:
https://www.rdr2mod.com/native-trainer-reskinned-and-arrow-keys/
Drop a horse/weapon/Moose from the sky right in front of ya.
While we're at it - R* can shove Automark Dead eye (up John's Ass while they're licking it):
Dead Eye Master:

(got tired of playing around with R*'s Auto Mark Level One Nightmare - and being eaten by alpha predators I could only manage to shoot in the foot)
Hmmm, the Moose from the sky finally explains that big 'ol crater up north!
Gonna have to update my journal.. lol
Ironically enough, this play through I've only seen one freakin moose and it was cow.
A 3* cow, But I'd normally have a few 3* bull's at this point in the game..
Normally have a harder time finding 3* badgers this early on,
got about 12 with this play through!
enough badgers already, drop a couple 3* bull moose from the sky! lol
I've seen more Moose in Florida (there are no Moose in Florida).
A Non-Cheaty way to get a Moose (I mean I dropped a dozen on Heartland Overflow with the trainer and they looked so natural there):
Clear every animal out of a 'Moosy Looking Area' (yell, shoot, play Madonna records).
Ride back to center of area.
Drop one Herbivore Bait.
Pretty Good Chance a Moose will walk in.
Could be a boy, could be a girl - keep trying if it's doesn't work immediately.
I had one walk into Dewberry Creek with the Rattlesnakes - didn't look very Moosy to me, but there he was.
And:
I've seen more Naturally Occurring Moose in the blue circle than anywhere else in the game - I've actually killed 3 Bullwinkles right there. and seen plenty more - also a great place to get Cougars on the day you need 5 of them for the challenge:

Don't feel bad,
We have moose in the state I've lived in for 61 years now.
I have never seen a wild moose here.
The same for elk, though there are several elk farms within a couple miles of me.
Area north of Annesburg is my go to location for moose as well as cougars..
Been several other locations also,
Even back up in the snow where the white Arabian is there is normally a moose nearby, no such luck this time around..
Maybe I'll just mount the Arabian in it's place?
Gotta see the taxidermist for a quote on that.. lol
I wasn't patient enough to use the exploit to get the MFT, but I did get the Turkoman in chapter 3. It looks a little strange, but it's impossible to kill. I'm glad I have it because it's the perfect horse to take when I feel like doing something stupid and getting a $600 bounty. I just use a mustang for missions, though.
and there's not a Roanoke Ridge Cougar at Cairn Lake.
BTW: NEVER seen a Moose at Cairn in 2200 hours.
It's pretty tough, but tame that Perlino Andalusian at Brandywine Drop.
That horse really is impossible to kill.
I walked it into Hangin' Dog and killed every one of 'em - Mounted - I needed an EMT - the horse got a brush and a pat - he still had Gold Cores...lol
Speed Stats:
I beat Dutch's Ass so bad with that Andalusian in the race from the swamp to Clemon's Point Dutch wasn't even on the mini map. That thing rode FLAT OUT all the way and NEVER got into the core. Dutch got me out of the gates, but in 400 yards I passed him so fast 'The Count' farted as we flew by.
Yea, I got your Arabian...
Swingin'...
:D
I've thought about taming the perlino, yeah. I guess I could just sell it if I don't like it. I've been dragging the storymode out as long as possible (sue me), so that could be fun.
Also - you can beat Dutch's horse on a shire. The game just goes easy on you lol
Well, yea - but under a trapper saddle the Perlino can stomp anything in the game outside of the Story - if the course is long enough. That dude is the Engergizer Abrams Tank Bunny.
