NO RX 7000 SERIES SUPPORT!!!!
If you currently own a 7000 series card, do not buy this game!!!. I'm on a 7800XT and I've had nothing but crashes and system restarts. I did absolutely everything in my power to solve the driver timeout issue. Literally everything. I also reinstall Windows every 2 months. The game was just no made for the 7000 series. I know it's a RDNA 3 issue because my 4060TI has no problem running the game. The worst part about it is that AMD won't acknowledge the driver timeout issue. They keep saying it's "user error". It's also not related to a defective model because the GPU only crashes in a few, very specific games, like TLOU part 1. AMD, please acknowledge the issue!!!

You're probably on the reference card, which doesn't go up to 3100Mhz clock speed by default

I have no problems with the rx 7900 gre in the game, only because of the game everything else slows down!

7900 GRE is on a different architecture. It used to be the Chinese flagship version of the 7900XT. Different architecture = no driver problem. The only exception to this is the 7900XTX, which is on a different architecture as well, but it still shows a lot of instability

I have Sapphire NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 7800 XT 16GB but not sure if it's true or not yet some people say that RDR2 does not like when you overclock your gpu card.

Yeah. The thing is, the OC is stock. I can't physically stop the card from self boosting its clock speeds. Even if you try to underclock it, it still self boosts above your set limit. Triggering a crash.

I am putting a "nonsense" stomp here.
I have Gigabyte 7800XT GPU. And like 300 hours in game so far.
I am playing on 1440p ULTRA with unlocked settings with DirecX and all unlocked options set to ULTRA
FPS is from 180-300.
NOT A SINGLE ISSUE.
Everything is a smooth as a butter. (Well since i turned OFF steam Overlay.)

In fact i even did some benchmark test recording 9 days ago.

That's a complete lie. A 4090 gets less fps in rdr 2 on maxed out settings 1440p. You're either lying, or you used some form of frame generation

You did fake it. You can't get over 200 in rdr 2 at 1440p. I'm being fr. You used some sort of external program to generate more frames, since rdr 2 doesn't even support frame generation. Or you just used fluid motion frames. Either way, that's not a credible source

People have started posting fake benchmarks in here, and I find it quite funny 😂💀💀💀 How dumb can people be?

Which is why you're not having any issues. The high end market is just a mess. Especially RDNA 3. RDNA 3 based GPUs shouldn't even have released. AMD pushed them sooner and the architecture is just buggy. But people buy RDNA 3 because the GPUs are very cheap when compared to what Nvidia is offering. I mean, the RX 7700XT goes for 100$ less than a RTX 4070, yet it performs the same as the 4070, sometimes being a little bit slower. The price is what makes people buy AMD, even though, many problems aren't acknowledged by AMD. But they did address this exact issue that I'm talking about for the 7900XTX, which they patched in driver version 24.5.1. No fix for RX 7600 and RX 7800XT yet. 7700 XT doesn't suffer from this issue, as it is based on a different architecture than the 7600 and 7800. Same for 7900 GRE.

I'm currently directly working with the AMD driver team to get this issue fixed ASAP. Gonna upload screenshots as proof:
