RDR2 - Having trouble with key inputs.
Whenever I run this game, after a short while, it starts pressing keys on repeat that arent being pressed. Whenever I open a tab in a browser (outside of the game) it starts inputing letters (ex. eeeeedddddeeedededededededededededededeeeddddededeeded). Would like to know if there's a fix for this. I already fixed the issue with Razer Synapse messing with the game and disconnecting my USB devices. But I seem to have this current issue to. I just wish I didn't have issues.

PC Specs: Ryzen 7 3700X, GeForce 3060 Ti, 16GB DDR4, Plenty of storage left on my SSD (where I store the game)

Other programs I use: Razer App, SteelSeries (audio control and clipping games), and Vanguard (League of Legends)

Any help would be appreciated :sothappy:

It's a known issue. I don't know the exact post, but someone posted about the typing lag thing, and posted what to do. Search recent posts in here.

start story mode, go to settings, graphics, start benchmark, let it run for 5 seconds

that should stop the problem, but you have to do it everytime you start the game
You must run the benchmark every single time. :hype:

This is happening with everyone, and is a recent problem. The temporary solution is here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1404210/discussions/0/4407417406445704929/

Oh, gosh... the infamous tab out keyboard lag that an entire group of us has.... nobody searches anymore. sigh

Anyways, don't expect an actual solution. I logged a ticket Jun 28/24 when this crap started with their launcher update. I got the standard bot reply. Over a month passes, so I reply back inquiring about what was happening. I got another bot reply suggesting file verification would remedy my issue. Yeah, right! I replied back saying to close my ticket because I'm done with RDO and recommended they don't treat new customers the same way as I'm used to their crappy customer service for years now.

Go to your graphic settings, run the benchmark and when it's running, exit out of the benchmark after 5 seconds. The input delay should go away (until you restart the game then do it again)
