Lobbies smaller since update - July 2024
Normally lobbies have around 20 people with a max of around 32. Since this month update lobbies contain around 10ish people. Also noticed higher levels like myself are more devided. When me and my friends spawn it's only low levels (under 100) - so one high with 10 newbies. It's now rare to have one other person in your lobby which is of a higher level unless they're friends who spawned/joined on you.

Has anyone else noticed this too?
Yes, it makes random events and animals spawn more but those who like social interactions or chill in Valentine its quite dissapointing to meet new players and future friends.

I think people either moved on to a diffent game or using start up meta which I'm using right now, they proply move on due to hacker problem that been a thing since 2020.

I stopped playing the game at level 10. It's anything but fun. The bear swarm (spawned by a cheater) killing me and my horse was the final drop that flooded the bucket.
I'm never returning to this game. I've enjoyed the story mode a lot but online? Probably one of the worst gaming experiences I've had in years.

I noticed that as well in June. I am level 405 and would see maybe one or 2 over 200, but most were under 50. Those higher level ones were the ones that seemed to be using mods and causing problems. I usually play on the startup meta session, but like to go on public every now and then.

As of this latest update, I've not been able to get into a lobby of more then 10 - 15 people. Definitely a bug.

Yes im lvl 444 myself. With the game on sale you can expect more new players, which is a good and fun thing. Most modders are under level 100, have no ability cards either. A lot buy menu's from the start. I have nothing against modders, some are fun, some are not.
