I'd wager sometime around 2028. Depends on if GTA VI is as successful as it's predecessor and if GTAO evolves to become an even bigger cash cow because of it.

Unfortunately, games like this are trending towards being treated as "events" when they launch with huge gaps between entries becoming the norm. It's unfortunate, but I guess you can't rush quality.

Maybe 3-5 years after GTA 6 is released in the past when they are done a big part of the team go hand on deck on the other big project that is in the works.

I believe R* won't abandon the frenchise. Considering GTA fans had to wait around a decade for the next installment i would say we can expect the same time frame for RDR3. Not considernig any new IP's they might be working on

highly doubt it, gta vi gonna release in 2026 not next year, 2027 on pc probably rockstar only then after half a year-year comes to steam and they are making gta vi online better plus new online content. IMO the next r* game announcement will be around 2030 late 2029

They've already confirmed RDR3 in the works. RDR2 made tens of billions. No corporation on earth will ignore tens of billions.

rockstar has never confirmed rdr3 there is only a reddit post started by someone with, (funny enough, ) the same name as you claiming it.

strauss zelnik, the CEO of take two, said it was confirmed like 6 years ago when houser was still employed by rockstar, dan houser left rockstar games in 2020.

to clarify: take two tried to confirm it, dan houser; the actual writer of the series, left a couple years after they said so, it's not going to happen im sorry. - take two claimed rdr3 was in the works literally after this game released, dan houser left a couple years after.

that is the ONLY time anyone in the biz "confirmed" rdr3, and it's not even factually confirmed, it was just the CEO saying they were going to make a third game before he even counted his chickens, dan houser then leaves and refuses to continue writing for them.

js, if by some chance they somehow make rdr3, i wouldn't expect it to be anywhere near as good as the first two games because as i said, dan houser doesn't work for them anymore, he literally made the games what they are.
