How many games do you play where you get to pretend you are a genius?
He obviously doesn't mean it literally. RDR2 just doesn't take a lot of skill and energy to play which is great if you just want to play something relaxing.
But some people who expect an action type of game that requires a good reaction will be disappointed in RDR2.
it doesn't require a genius to play this game, exactly. everything is as easy as it can get and on-rails. extremely forgiving, extremely obvious and this entire game is obviously designed for console players who value cinematic games rather than the games that you actually play.
Its just a linear story game. Rockstar dosen't make rpgs
could you explain exactly what's wrong? i think i made my point clear.
But if you don't like interactive movie type of games, then I'll suggest to try stealth or the famous "immersive sims" genre.
In such games, you're totally in control and have to find your own way to complete objectives.
You could try the free game "The Dark Mod", deeply inspired by Thief.
No cutscenes whatsoever. You take your time to figure out how to do things and have to use your brain a lot in some levels.
***Spoilers inside***
For me...
The game is a huge, beautiful open world with awesome detail. It is immersive and you can get lost in the things you set out to do. It is really an open-world, survival game with some role play, adding in FPS (First Person Shooter) and a Story arc to go with it.
I have said, the Story starts off extremely interesting. This is key because it sucks you into your part in it. As it goes on, the Story gets very messy to the point that, there is no need for
Dutch to keep coming up with these stupid money missions. They never give the payout that you are expecting and you end up losing people.
Also, in the end... when you finally find out How much money was actually left back in Blackwater! It's laughable because I personally had around $90,000.00 of my own cash and had the Camp Funds up to $60,000.00! But Dutch was still trying for a "Big Score" so that we could head back out west and disappear! SMH
So that part sucks, but all the rest is great. It's just tied to a pathetic and annoying Story!
