Frames Plummeted After One Night..

I’ve put many hours on this game and never had this issue occur before. I’ve looked through many discussions trying to find an issue but I can not find a solution.

I was playing RDR2 Online one night completely fine, frames were averaging 80-100. I get off for the night to log on the next morning and the game acts completely different.

I used to hit 160+fps in the loading screens and transition screens. But now the shell loading screen starts at 12 fps and leads into 40fps throughout loading. When I log into the game I’m hitting 20fps while in the middle of no where. The game is simply unplayable..

I have tried deleting my cache and settings. I’ve ran multiple different video settings with no change to performance at all. I have reinstalled the application twice with no change. My gpu/cpu are not even stressed during these phases which is why I don’t understand why this is occurring.

I have an EVGA 3080 12gb
Intel I7-9700k 4.9ghz
4X 8gb Ram
Game is installed on a 2tb 980 NVME
