How to get a higher resolution than 1080 in RDR2?
I changed my Nvidia control panel settings to 3840x2160, just to see how well 4k would play.

Then changed DSR settings and checked that same resolution which to my understanding should make it become an option in game.

However, 1920x1080 is still the best available option in game and I can’t see a difference.

Still no complaints if it never gets solved. Don’t know if y’all remember my last post. Fixed the issue and the game went from unplayable to 90-100 FPS

Make sure your screen type in the settings is "Fullscreen"

It may change back to borderless fullscreen when you go out of focus.

I figured it out, gotta change it for RDR2 in the GeForce settings, not just the control panel. Strange though, because you’re just changing the on-game settings. Now it shows up in-game.

Won’t be using 4k. I can barely tell and difference and for some reason it has my refresh rate locked at 30
