Jack Marston the new Dutch?
I've heard a range of theories about what could happen to Jack Marston after RDR.

Possibilities range from serving in WW1, retiring and never picking up a gun again, moving to Mexico to be a gunslinger.

But what if he tried to form a gang instead?

Decide that the civilized world and all of its laws simply wasn't for him and, with nothing left to lose, unknowingly becomes just like his Uncle Dutch? Gathering a bunch of misfits and rejects from society together into a new gang under his leadership. Using his already wide reading to form an ideology of his own and preach that to his followers?

Sure, he might lack the charisma of Mr. Van Der Linde, but maybe not.

What if that's RDR 3? Play as Jack and form your own gang, decide whom to recruit and plan jobs to carry out while clinging to an idea that's already dead?

I don't know what the redemption angle would be, but what do y'all think?

No. Jack is a very uninteresting character, just boring and be better suited to go be an egg-head book-worm instead.

RDR3 simply can't take place AFTER RDR1. If so then well it wouldn't be RED DEAD as we know it.

I wonder if they could adapt to another Culture Ideal. It can be the same Thematically but take place in another Society. Asia (China), Eastern Europe, Maybe even Africa.

I mean the theme Band of Outlaw/Rebels/Gang is pretty much universal. Nothing says they can't take the franchise world wide.

Heck Send it into the Future and make a space game. That's hot with the kids these days.

They could do that with GTA as well, but they won't. I always wanted to have a GTA that takes place in London/Ireland or perhaps Russia with a plot setting surrounding the early 2000s maybe... but again Rockstar wouldn't go such a route.

If you're going to.take the premise of Red Dead and have it take place in the mid/late 1800s outside of USA then that's all fine and well, just don't call it Rdc Dead, instead make a new IP for that so it doesn't tarnish an existing IP franchise

Who knows maybe in RDR 3 we get to play as a much younger Arthur.
