RDR3 simply can't take place AFTER RDR1. If so then well it wouldn't be RED DEAD as we know it.
I mean the theme Band of Outlaw/Rebels/Gang is pretty much universal. Nothing says they can't take the franchise world wide.
Heck Send it into the Future and make a space game. That's hot with the kids these days.
They could do that with GTA as well, but they won't. I always wanted to have a GTA that takes place in London/Ireland or perhaps Russia with a plot setting surrounding the early 2000s maybe... but again Rockstar wouldn't go such a route.
If you're going to.take the premise of Red Dead and have it take place in the mid/late 1800s outside of USA then that's all fine and well, just don't call it Rdc Dead, instead make a new IP for that so it doesn't tarnish an existing IP franchise
