My new criteria for gaming designers is...
1. Be very wary of needing a separate loader to play game. I thought Steam was a game loader but Rockstar requires their own launcher and it doesn't even work right.
2. Any company who released a game in only 1 console, but neglected to include the PC platform. PC's are one of the biggest reasons for the success of gaming programs. I am still angered that I cannot experience RDR1 for myself because they said **** *** PC Gaming Community!!
3. Reading massive complaints about the lack of support with the product!!
4. Rockstar has allowed cheaters to run rampant on their MP online platform. Modding and cheating online has always been the biggest No No in the Gaming Universe. Not only have they allowed it to happen, they ultimately refuse to issue bans or punishments. That was one of the biggest reasons for their Rockstar game launcher... So they could freeze and Ban anyones account who utilized mods, hacks or cheats! But the cheaters rule the Rockstar online RDR2 World.
And there you have it... We're screwed and stuck!!!
Sadly, all of these things are 100% true. They put 200% more effort into online and still update it whilst allowing hackers to destroy the game.
It's a shame, because this game had a lot of potential.
Here's hoping Rockstar/Take-Two doesn't "drop-the-ball" on their next online world, and let it get saturated by cheaters again. :/
lol, a text-chat option for PC would also be nice. :P
They care about GTA online more than GTA6 at this point.
Totally agree. But, I never really cared much for online so it didn't affect me... But now they've gone and broken Story mode with the last couple of updates!
What is different now? I didn't read the changes, sorry
Basically, 1.00 was the best version, and R* ruined it by updating it and making everything worse. For instance, John's gloves and pants. The gloves used to fit, and the pants didn't look like bell-bottoms. Facial animations were better as well.
And whats more after you have all the roles unlocked there is almost nothing to do with your gold bars and $$. The content is just too short and shallow. After a little while this game sux its only good for interacting with your real life friends, Cuz like i said there will not be anything new added to this game. R* themselve pretty much said a long time ago that theyre done developing this.
Sheesh, you made some very good points there. R* could be so much richer if they cared lmaooo
